Happy New Year 2026 From Living With RLS πŸŒ™

Jan 19, 2026

A Quick Update From Me I want to start by saying thank you for being here. I know I haven’t posted much recently, and I wanted to be open about why. Over the past few months I’ve been working on other projects and, like many of you, I’ve been struggling to find the time and energy to create new content for Living With RLS. That isn’t because this project doesn’t matter. It’s because life, health, and exhaustion sometimes take priority.

Living With RLS Is Still Hard

I also want to be honest on a personal level.

Lately my own Restless Legs Syndrome has been particularly difficult. I’m coming up to nearly two months of very poor sleep, with some nights barely sleeping at all. I feel exhausted, foggy, and at times like a zombie just trying to get through the day.

If you’re reading this and thinking β€œthat sounds familiar”, you’re not alone.

This condition can be relentless, and even when you know all the tips and strategies, there are periods where nothing seems to help.

This Project Still Matters

Living With RLS was always meant to be a calm, honest space for people who understand what this feels like. Not a place full of miracle cures or pressure to β€œfix” yourself, but somewhere that acknowledges how hard this can be.

That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is that I’ve realised I don’t have to do this alone.

A Call for Fellow RLS Sufferers 🀍

If you are a fellow RLS sufferer and you have skills you’d like to contribute, I would genuinely love to hear from you.

This could be:

  • Writing or sharing lived experiences

  • Helping with research or summaries

  • Social media or content organisation

  • Design, editing, or behind-the-scenes help

  • Or anything else you feel you could offer

There is no pressure, no deadlines, and no expectations. This is about contributing what you can, when you can, in a way that feels manageable.

If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, please reach out.

Final Thoughts

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for being part of this quiet corner of the internet.

If you’re struggling with sleep right now, I see you.
If you’re exhausted, frustrated, or feeling worn down, you’re not weak and you’re not failing.

Here’s to a gentler 2026, one night at a time πŸŒ™
